It is widely known by the operators of the sector that since the entry into force of European standard 2013/167, all the issues related to the coupling of vehicles and trailers have become apparent, with the consequent need to make the different braking systems compatible and therefore to carry out a new homologation.
This regulation at European level has however brought an advantage on the market for manufacturers of trailer vehicles, as through a single approval they can present their vehicle in different markets.
This is in fact the case that we are presenting, an important challenge for Safim that, in addition to providing the braking system, supports the customer in all phases prior to homologation.
