During October and November 2022 Safim held two international exhibitions for which we are very satisfied.
Bauma, held in Munich, is Europe’s most important trade fair for construction, heavy load handling, mining machinery and equipment industry. During this event Safim and Al-ko Vehicle Technology set for the first time up a shared booth, a great moment for people integrations. It was a moment of sharing during which, thanks also to the aperitif event, we welcomed to the group and introduced to the OEMs customers our colleagues from Fluidpress, a company that recently joined the DexKo Group.
At the same time, the exhibiton constituted a discovery and training place for our R&D staff, that took advantage of the trade show to observe new applications, new market trends, or even just see our customized components directly on the vehicles for what they have been designed for.
We took a brief interview to some attendees to comment the experience:
S.Togninelli – Corporate sales director: “Attendance at the booth and visitor flow in general was very high. the solutions oriented to the development of intelligent braking functions were highly appreciated, thus demonstrating interest in electrification and stimulating application ideas on next-generation machines.”
V.Montanari – R&D Manager: “Together with my staff we visited the fair both for booth support and for trade fair visit. There is a lot of rumour about the so called “smart” applications, a world with a wide potential, but at the same time still quite embryonic.
F.Capitani – Product Eng. Team Leader: “Finally after some time we were able to attend an international event again. It was exciting to be able to see live some applications of our products and thus also be able to hypothesize aesthetic and functional improvements to propose and develop.”
Eima, held in Bologna, is the international trade fair dedicated to machinery and equipment for the agro-forestry sector. Visitors and exhibitors cover wide-range of typology, from large vehicles manufacturers to small trailer manufacturers, from irrigation solutions to small lawn mowers and many other equipments.
At this exhibition Safim presented both braking solutions for the tractor+trailer system and more cross-cutting solutions oriented to the electrification of vehicles. There were many customers and potential customers who asked about different solutions depending on their needs, which often covers a wide number of different requests.
This event too has been a perfect chance to interact with our new colleagues of Fluidpress thanks to the stand nearness.
